Wheelchairs
Often Occupational Therapists are involved in helping to determine the right chair for the customer. The first step is to determine what kind of chair is needed from the basic categories below. Some questions to ask:
How much time will the person be spending it? What are their abilities? What are their future abilities? What do they want and need in a chair?
A trial is often recommended with a chair that offers similar or the same features that the client will be getting. This allows our technician or the therapist to ensure that needs are being met prior to the purchase.
Visit us in-store for accessory options for your wheelchair such as cup holders, cane holders, tray or light holders, and holders for ventilators, oxygen tanks, and feeding apparatus.
Because of the variety of options, all of our Wheelchairs require consultation or are sold in-store only.
